My creative nonfiction essays have received two Pushcart nominations, a Notable mention in Best American Essays 2017, and publication in Solstice Literary Magazine, Watershed Review, Jabberwock Review, The Forge, and elsewhere. My poems have appeared in the Asheville Poetry Review.

In 2026 I was selected for an artist residency at Wildacres Retreat in North Carolina, and in 2025 I was a Creative Fellow at Hambidge Center for the Creative Arts and Sciences in Georgia.

I have an MFA from the University of Southern Maine and an MA in journalism from Louisiana State University.
